Veekmas FG 2428

Veekmas FG 2428 is the resultant masterpiece of the long period of thorough practise and experimental design work which has proved to be a great success on the market. It has been developed, keeping an eye on the severe and demanding climate conditions prevalent in the Nordic countries. That is why its mechanical efficiency, ergonomically designed and comfortable operating features, and finally the superior working results, are incomparable.

Renewed Veekmas FG 2428

The renewed four-wheel drive Veekmas FG 2428 and six-wheel drive Veekmas FG 2428 6WD have strong engines as well as  redesignad main frames and engine hoods. The moldboard has been renewed, whereby the middle blade ground clearance is better and the blade movements are larger than before. The steerability and the braking capacity have been substantially improved. Furthermore, the motor grader now has plenty of led lights as standard for increased safety.

Renewed Iqan machine control and monitoring system

The electronic can-bus based Iqan machine control and monitoring system allows a diversified blade automatism and separate settings for different operators. The setting adjustments can also be made by the factory. The fault finding process is also facilitated, thanks to the informative fault codes and remote access to the machine. The middle blade rises automatically when reversing with floating activated. The windrow spreader also rises automatically from operation when reversing. The control of the output of the electrically pre-controlled hydraulic system is stepless and takes place by propo valves. The operator can adjust the maximum speed of the hydraulics according to his needs – especially in conditions which require special accuracy.

Advanced reversed transmission system

Veekmas Motor Graders have a reversed transmission system, where the transmission is situated transversally at the back of the motor grader. The solution has several advantages, among other things, a low cabin noise level, easier maintenance, and improved weight distribution. The placing of the transmission and the declining design of the engine bonnet allow excellent operator visibility backwards for safe reversing.

Operator-friendly cabin

The tiltable ROPS- and FOPS-certified cabin includes as standard, for example, a CD-player, automatic air-condition integrated in the roof, air-conditioned, air-cushioned and heated operator seat, darkly tinted glasses, openable side windows on both sides of the cabin, as well as electrically adjustable and heated rear-view mirrors (in the Nordic countries). In addition to the steering with a steering whee, the front wheels can be steered by joysticks.
